Rollie Cyr has been with the Calgary Flames and Calgary Sports & Entertainment Corporation since 2002 with most of his time spent in the role of VP Sales, Customer Service & Ticketing for the four teams (Flames, Hitmen, Roughnecks and Stampeders).  In the early years, the focus was to keep the Flames in Calgary (save the Flames Campaign.) In July 2021 Rollie was named the EVP, Event Center and Revenue Development. While that project is currently paused, Rollie is once again involved in Sales with CSEC.

In March 2005, the Calgary Flames formed a partnership with local Omaha Nebraska partners to own and operate the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights hockey team.  Mr. Cyr was seconded to Omaha at that time to begin the start-up of the hockey team. The team later relocated to Abbotsford and is now playing in Stockton California.

Prior to his role with CSEC, Mr. Cyr was in financial services for 25 years as an owner of a broker dealer, a broker with RBC DS and Richardson Greenshields and Director of Business Development for two large Canadian Financial Institutions

Mr. Cyr is active in charities, principally the Flames Foundation in which he co-chairs 2 significant events annually and until recently was part of the Patrons Council of UNICEF in Alberta. Rollie has been part of the Downtown Rotary Club for 9 years as a corporate member through CSEC.

Rollie moved to Calgary in 1978 and other than two short stints in Toronto has lived in Calgary since then.  He and his wife Marilyn have two children, Kyle and Hailey.
